Im Ben Folds, the reason I am is cause Ben Folds I think he writes some of the most creative songs out there. (Granted he is most likely high when he writes them but still...)

I agree with Mr. Nelson. Everyone has potential for writing ability, but unless you're willing to take the time to cultivate it, make mistakes, scratch whole stories, start over, and do the process again, you aren't going to improve. One class can't teach you everything; there is a lot of your personal time you are going to have to dedicate to writing to become great. But keep at it!
I agree. Spend more time working on your writing. I know Ben Folds is supposed to sound like he can't write very well, but try exploring deeper than that. Try finding ways to practice writing deeper through his voice and conveying a deeper message to your readers. Other than that, it's a pretty good intro.
Not that good of a writer = spent < 10 min on this post.
